The following was written for The Mean Nurse, a blog that takes an aggressive, in-your-face approach to health advice. The style of The Mean Nurse conveys one nurse’s exasperation with doctors and the incorrect information they may give to their patients. In addition, the blunt tone is directed towards patients who take erroneous suggestions from doctors. This blog replicates The Mean Nurse's aggressive style and blunt tone to explain a specific piece of faulty advice commonly given to patients from their doctors.
